Véronique & Fred | Village historique acadien Rustic Wedding [Caraquet, NB]

September 2017 was filled with so many amazing, beautiful weddings in brand new locations with the most amazing, kind people, I couldn’t believe my luck. And none were kinder than these two beautiful people, middle school (!) sweethearts Véro and Fred. They found me through a friend who’s wedding I did in 2013 (merci Rebecca!) and when I first met them in June I was struck by 2 things: 1) how lovely (and good looking!) they were as a couple and 2) how their wedding was all about family, friends, their culture and their love. They decided to get married at the village historique acadien, where Fred worked when he was younger and a place with a lot of significance to them, and they also wanted to visit a church that held a special place to them and their families. The weather was perfect, her dress and details were GORGEOUS, everything fell into place but most of all, Véro and Fred were present, graceful, and even after 10+ years they were obviously still so, so in love. It was a dream to photograph.
